So, today was a very busy day, but a good day. This morning I woke up in Lake Worth, had a nice breakfast, and went with a deacon and a local elder down to Miami for morning services. I gave a sermonette on the “Sons of Korah,” [1] a friend of mine had special music with a piece he composed, and I was able to talk quite a bit with different people. Of course, given the tension between my love of chatting and the need to hurry back to Lake Worth, we had to hurry out.
After a trip of an hour back to Lake Worth from Mirimar, we held services again, where I gave another sermonette, this one on Psalm 133 called “How Good and How Pleasant” [2] and then gave a closing prayer. I now have three messages I have given in South Florida that I have yet to give in Tampa—I have some catching up to do. After an enjoyable dinner full of excellent conversation, I was able to see some excellent e-mails that gave me a good laugh about the ongoing situation down in South Florida. Suffice it to say that despite the demands of some former ministers of God, there will be no retraction of messages, and apparently some lawyers who gave given others bad advice about congregational accounts.
After the conversation, I enjoyed a charming evening of watching British television and then City Slickers as I helped someone with simple computer problems. Having passed along a baffling bit of conversation, it appears that some kind of legal action may be necessary given the impasse over certain matters and the unwillingness of some people to follow the rules. Now I get to relax a bit before going to sleep. At any rate, it has been an interesting and pleasant day, full of jokes and wry commentary. Eventually I may post the text of the two sermonettes I gave today, perhaps after they are given in Tampa.

I’m glad you all had a great day in Florida. East Texas was great too. After services today, we had a fantastic Leadership Club (Spokesman’s Club). It is nice to have such a beautiful day in the face of Satan’s war against us.
Be well!

Excellent 🙂 I’m glad it was a good day for you too.
Hi,
I’m guessing that helping someone “ith ssimple computer problems” didn’t involve spellcheck. lol
Jeff
This is why I will be correcting it with my normal computer. If you saw the laptop I normally used it would be a miracle that I can type anything at all on it.
