An Introduction To The Portland Anonymous Project

Most years [1] I participate in the National Novel Writing Month contest where participants have 30 days to write a book of 50,000 words in length.  At times I have used this as the opportunity to create compilations of work, like my efforts to compile my writings on the Sabbath and my thoughts about my departure from Thailand, but last year I actually ended up writing a novel, albeit a somewhat strange one.  This year I am looking to continue this by writing another novel that balances my own real life interests in music and the world of recording and producing and my own melancholy approach to corporate and cultural pressures of stardom on people who do not particularly want fame.  As the novel is a bit of a complicated story, I will be compiling its chapters/parts here in the order that they exist in the story itself, which will admittedly include a fair amount of flashbacks.  So, without any further ado, here are the parts of this novel:

Fragment One [2]
Fragment Two [3]
Fragment Three [4]
Fragment Four [5]
Fragment Five [6]
Fragment Six [7]
Fragment Seven [8]
Fragment Eight [9]
Fragment Nine [10]
Fragment Ten [11]
Fragment Eleven [12]
Fragment Twelve [13]
Fragment Thirteen [14]
Fragment Fourteen [15]
Fragment Fifteen [16]
