So, it’s 10:15PM here as I write this and I don’t really have time to write the sort of lengthy post I would like to, because I need to sleep. So, I thought it would be interesting to comment on at least a little bit about what is keeping me busy in the hopes that I will have more time tomorrow night.
Today I finally got the money from my first check put into the bank account, which required a dispute because the Credit Union had put the money into the wrong account, and once I found the trace they were able to find the money and put it into the proper account. That’s no fun. I was going to blog about it, but I figured it might be a bit too negative, so I avoided it. At any rate, I shouldn’t have to worry about it any longer.
I have two books to read, and I’m hoping that I can get to them during the weekend (we’ll see how that goes). Not only does work and my other obligations (including a barbershop quartet that I had practice for tonight, for the upcoming competition in Forest Grove) take up a lot of time, but I’m also in the process of moving, which does not leave a great deal of time for books, especially when I have to change about a dozen addresses in various websites. Suffice it to say that I’m not very good by nature at keeping people informed as to my whereabouts and activities, and moving is merely one more occasion where I find this to be a struggle. For those of you who want to know or need to know my new address, please let me know privately, and I would be happy to give it to you.
At any rate, as you can see, I have more than enough to keep me busy. I just like to make sure that I write whenever possible, even if just to give a little note to show that I’m alive and well and haven’t killed any more computers today.
