My life is full of unintentional ironies and I have just learned to make the best of it and recognize the humor in the absurdity without troubling myself too much over it. When I posted last, my blog post on shutting it down was meant to refer to shutting down a place. Ironically enough, I suppose, when I woke up the next morning after staying up way too late to write and catch up on e-mails and the like, the laptop I was using decided it was necessary to shut down, for good. Without getting into too many technical details, a long chain of events involving the computer not starting outside of safe mode and not getting enough rest meant that the laptop has entered its final reward, at least as far as laptops go. I am still pondering what sort of consistent computer use can be found, and in the meantime less consistent and more intermittant blogging can be expected. I figured it would be good to give some kind of warning, lest people read too mant I any unintended messages unto my last post and assume (wrongly) that I meant to shut down Edge Induced Cohesion, as that is not the case. Though, I suppose it would be fair to say I need to shut the computer down more often.
