Fear in the context of eschatology. Is that what Armstrong’s readers experienced as WWII was closing with an Allied victory? Or WCG members as 1972 was passing without them getting travel itineraries to Petra? Or perhaps the better-read traditional Armstrongists as the 20th century was passing (per MA p298)?
