When Armstrong was going through his divorce, he used California religious corporation laws passed after the receivership to hide his family finances from Ramona’s attorneys. Basically his life and WCG were that intertwined. Armstrong really did own the church. (California changed their law soon thereafter.)

That is their core intent: Trying to promote and ultimately prove the unbroken ordinational succession which is the core of their “True Church” claim. Because without it, they lose their “authority” over the members.
You know this. Literally every minister who came out of WCG, regardless of where they ended up religiously, knows this. The succession is core to your religion’s identity. Genuine inquiry here: Has UCG ever credentialed as an elder/GCE member anyone who did not have a documented ordinational dissent from Herbert Armstrong? And in the off chance such a thing did happen, please explain the background situation, and tell whether the individual(s) was/were subsequently ordained by laying on of hands by ministry who did have such an organizational dissent.
