Note: The winner of the first book was Miss Alisha Boise. One book still remains available for an interested young reader.
Attention readers of this blog:
Do you have a fan of Duck Dynasty in your family between the ages of 8 and 12? Do I know you or your family personally? Do you want a free book? If so, continue reading.
As a result of blog tour requirements for this book from the publisher, I have to give away a copy of Willie’s Redneck Time Machine, by John Luke Robertson with Travis Thrasher, to a reader between the ages of 8 and 12. For understandable reasons, I am reluctant to do this personally. So, as a way of fulfilling the requirements of this blog tour, I have opened this contest for young readers from those families who enjoy reading this blog. I have two copies of this book, which is about 250 pages and is written in the style of a choose your own adventure book where a portable bathroom serves as a time machine that, and where the decisions of the reader drive the story along different paths. Although I have to read and review the book for Tyndale Publishers, I am willing to part with both copies if there are interested readers, one of them immediately and the other one after I have finished reading it. In order to receive a copy of this book, the following terms must be met:
I must be able to hand the book personally to a parent/guardian/relative of the interested reader to be given directly to the winner.
The interested reader must be between the ages of 8 and 12. If other members of the household want to read the book as well, that is fine.
The parent/guardian/relative of the interested young reader must send me a message expressing the interest of the young person, via comment to this post, facebook message, e-mail, text message/phone call.
Arrangements for giving the book will be made upon receipt of request.
The first book will be given away as soon as agreed. The second book will be given away once I have finished reading it and writing the review for the blog tour.
The names of the winners of the book giveaway will be posted in an update to this blog entry.
That’s it!
Note: There is no requirement for the recipient(s) of this book to review the book. Only I have to do that.
