Portland Community Examiner

Late last week I was accepted as a writer for Examiner.com as a Portland Community Examiner on the strength of a blog entry I had written about Happy Valley when I first arrived here in Oregon [1]. As is my custom, those articles I write for Examiner.com will not be posted here, but links will be posted below and updated as frequently as possible. I would, however, like to make a request of my readers (particularly those in the greater Portland area) to provide information on quirky community news and events that you are involved in or know closely. Those who are able to get in touch with me (e-mail: nathanbalbright@yahoo.com) and Facebook are particularly easy to use, and sources of information will be referred to by name or anonymously as is your preference. Information on arts, music, literature, sports, and religious events within the Portland area are of particular interested. If you have information to give, I want to write about it.
