For those who do not yet know, I have started a podcast where I deal with music history as well as contemporary aspects that will be remembered in history called Blessed Obscurity. You can find the podcast here:
If you want to hear my voice and listen to me talk somewhat briefly about various matters, feel free to follow the link and follow my podcast. I hope to upload at least a couple of podcasts a week as I am able to fit in time to do so as a supplement to some of the writing that I do on music history here. So far I have an introduction as well as a couple of posts on the Coronavirus and its affect on radio as well as on the creation of quarantine pop music. I also plan on doing an episode that will define pop music history in terms of the scope that I wish to cover and also perhaps a series on future Rock & Roll Hall of Fame snubs to supplement my own current series on the blog on those acts that have not been voted in yet.
There is also a Facebook page for the podcast that is new and I hope that you can go over there and follow it as well:
I’m interested in fielding any sort of topics you would like to hear me talk about recorded in my dulcet tones and I would also like to have conversations with fellow music fans about aspects of obscure and neglected music history that are worthy of commentary. I already have some artists, some albums, and some songs I would like to talk about in detail as time permits but having more material is definitely not a bad thing.
